HOW IT WORKS

The MuscleWeb™ design mimics natural anatomical attachments and function. This unique external support system overlays the elbow and shoulder providing stability to the joints during acceleration and deceleration, externally offloading stress when the arm is in the weakest and most vulnerable ranges, and when peak stress is the highest.

Wearing the Kinetic Arm is like wearing an external muscular system, providing the additional support needed to help stabilize joints when the arm is in passive ranges. These dynamic braces and sleeves give a layer of external protection reinforcing the arm to help to promote cleaner arm actions and reduce arm stress that can lead to fatigue, pain, and overuse injuries.

FRONT SHOULDER SUPPORT

The MuscleWeb™ design has a strategic network of elastomers that overlay the anterior part of the shoulder that mimic anatomical attachments and function. This external layer of unrestrictive support acts as an active constraint and helps to reinforce the muscles, ligaments, and joints during repetitive arm actions. Having this external web of support helps to offload dynamic stress from common overuse sites like the biceps tendon, labrum, & rotator cuff.

FULL ELBOW SUPPORT

The MuscleWeb™ design has a web of polymers that overlay the elbow to give unrestrictive support and targeted stability to the medial elbow during external rotation or late cocking phase to help offload stress when peak stress is the highest and when the elbow is in the most vulnerable ranges. Wearing this external support to help reinforce the elbow is imperative for preventing common overuse injuries like medial epicondylitis, UCL injuries, avulsion fractures, and Tommy John surgery.

BACK SHOULDER SUPPORT

The MuscleWeb™ design has a network of elastomers that overlay the posterior side of the shoulder to help reinforce the muscles, ligaments and joints. This web of support acts as an active constraint to help with deceleration, and absorbs stress on the decelerator muscles and scapula area. Having this external web of support prevents the shoulder from ending up with an anterior tilt position causing impingement and overuse injuries at the shoulder which can also lead to increased elbow stress.
